We provide strategic support to a range of public and third sector organisations.
Our work includes the assessment of labour market and demographically relevant information for service planning and organisational strategic development. The design of strategic plans and review of core operations including governance, financial and sustainability elements.
We provide evaluations services, including impact assessments/cost benefit analysis, qualitative review for formative learning and summative evaluation of programme and project delivery.
Evaluation Feature - We Are Undefeatable
We Are UndefeatABLE is a national campaign to encourage people living with a long term health condition to be physically active as a way of building greater well being and health benefits. We were the independent evaluation partners for three Activation Areas - County Durham, Bolsover (Derbyshire) and Mansfield (Nottinghamshire).
County Durham
We were the evaluation partners for the County Durham We Are Undefeatable pilot, working closely with Durham County Council and its strategic partners to understand the ongoing impact of the their local programme. We published an Interim Report in March 2022 and a Final Report in Spring 2023. The County Durham pilot focused on raising public awareness of the health benefits of physical activity, alongside supporting the workforce across Health, Care and community settings to advocate the engagement with exercise as a way of improving health and wellbeing. A proactive marketing and communications strategy underpinned the whole approach.
Bolsover & Mansfield
In December 2020, we completed the initial interim evaluation for the midlands based pilot areas. This included a mixed methodology of qualitative assessment of the impact of the pilots across their areas, policy assessment, surveying and an assessment of key outputs/primary quantitative data.
Our interim reports included the background details regarding Sport England's strategy for We Are UndefeatABLE, the partnership context for both areas, including the ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic and a summary of learning points/forward priorities.
Both Bolsover and Mansfield continued to pilot delivery throughout 2021, when our evaluation concluded with two final reports and legacy statements.

The Frozen Ark is a UK based charity whose vision is to conserve the genetic heritage of endangered animals, both wild and domestic species, before they are irretrievably lost. Led by a group of ambitious Trustees, the Frozen Ark seeks to secure this heritage by collecting and conserving genetic material of endangered animals and providing coordination, infrastructure and advice on managing and maintaining these materials through working with UK and international partners.
