Evaluating the Youth Employment Initiative (ESF) - Latest from Blinkbright
In 2023, Blinkbright evaluated two of the national Youth Employment Initiative Programmes - covering Birmingham and the Black Country. A combined investment value of over £110 million pounds and delivered over seven years, both programmes aimed to support young people from 15 - 29 develop their skills and move into sustainable employment.
Our evaluation included a comprehensive assessment of the delivery and impact of the programmes and a cost benefit analysis, which included a Social Return on Investment report.
Our reports included keynote summary presentations on the main findings, value statements and legacy plans to inform how evaluation conclusions can shape future Shared Prosperity Funding, and other forms of local investment for economic and social inclusion.

We provide organisational support to the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS), to not for profits and amazing charities - all helping to support our local communities, the environment and our heritage. We help with planning and sustainability, and evaluate delivery and impact - across the System, for Local Authorities, National Agencies and for Government. Our design outputs include robust analysis, high impact reports, easy on the eye website designs and digital media - we like to make our community clients shine.
